I. General terms of processing personal data
- The administrator of personal data is Metar Sp. z o.o., based in Gliwice, at Gaudiego 12, registered in the business register maintainedby the District Court in Gliwice under the KRS number 0000171688 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Administrator’).

- The processing of personal data by the Administrator is carried out in accordance with the law, particularly in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and Council (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as ‘GDPR’).
- The processing concerns individuals and personal data depending on the purpose for which they are processed (the specific purposes of processing are detailed in Section II of the Privacy Policy). The data is provided voluntarily, and the consequence of not providing it may be the inability to fulfill a specific purpose, e.g., responding to a question asked. II. BASIS AND DURATION OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
Each processing of personal data is carried out for specific, explicit, and legally defined purposes, and the Administrator ensures that it does not collect or process personal data in a manner inconsistent with the purposes indicated below.
- Implementation of activities related to the conclusion and execution of the contract is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR and specifically concerns:
- providing services in accordance with the concluded contract;
- communicating regarding the provided service;
- taking actions prior to the conclusion of the contract, particularly delivering an offer at the request of the individual whose data is being processed.
- Establishing business relationships, including responding to inquiries related to the contact of individuals whose data is being processed, is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR in connection with the realization of the Administrator’s legitimate interests in responding to inquiries. Personal data will be processed until a valid objection to the processing of data is expressed, but no longer than until the last day of the calendar year following the expiration of 3 years from the moment of the Administrator’s response.
- Pursuing or securing potential claims and handling complaints is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR in connection with the realization of the Administrator’s legitimate interests regarding the protection of the rights of the Administrator and individuals whose rights are affected. The period for processing data relates to the limitation period for the given claim and begins at the moment of pursuing or defending against a specific claim.
- The fulfillment of tax and accounting obligations is based on Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR in accordance with applicable tax and accounting regulations. The period for processing data for this purpose is equal to the duration of the legal obligation, as determined by applicable laws.
III. RIGHTS OF THE INDIVIDUALS WHOSE DATA IS PROCESSED
An individual whose personal data is processed by the Administrator, provided that the legally specified conditions are met, has the right to:
1) access the content of their data and obtain a copy,
2) rectification,
3) request deletion,
4) restrict processing,
5) data portability,
6) object on grounds relating to their particular situation to the processing of data based on the legitimate interest of the Administrator,
7) object to the processing of data for marketing purposes , which is based on the legitimate interest of the Administrator,
8) lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if they believe that the processing of personal data by the Administrator violates applicable law (address: President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw),
9) withdraw consent if processing is based on consent (the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal).
IV. RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA
- Personal data may be shared with entities authorized to receive it under applicable law, including relevant justice authorities.
- Personal data may also be shared with trusted recipients such as: carriers and postal service providers, accounting service providers, legal service providers, partners providing technical services (developing and maintaining IT systems and websites, delivering software or systems), and debt collection companies.
- The Administrator does not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or to international organizations.
